RAISING THE BEST GENERATION™

RAISING THE BEST GENERATION

This program is part of the Best Generation Series and is a logical follow-up to the introductory program "Creating the Best Generation." Raising the Best Generation focuses on how parents and families can specifically build the self-esteem of children so they can become "capable" people. This program is suited to parents, grandparents, community leaders and concerned educational personnel. The process of raising capable children must take into account the crisis that families of our culture face. Participants will learn advanced parenting skills that encourage children to make healthy decisions and positive choices. Parents will learn positive discipline methods that teach that "choices lead to consequences." Children who learn that consequences come from choices will become capable leaders! Some of the specific objectives are:

    • To introduce the "the necessity of excellence" in our contemporary culture.
    • To propose the necessity of capable individuals for our hurting culture.
    • To encourage parents to be capable parents!
    • To introduce "the four C's" of parenting.
    • To provide participants with specific discipline tools that encourage capability within children.
    • To introduce the co-dependent family as a reaction to dysfunction .
    • To discuss and propose specific methods that families can use to break the "chain of pain."
    • To propose specific ways that individuals can strive for excellence and passion in their lives, and specific tools to help them become personally capable.
    • To learn to stop enabling -- how to "able" kids.
    • To learn about legacies of pain.
    • To learn what children need us to be.
