PRAISE KIDS!       PRAISE TEENS! 

I COULD USE YOUR HELP:

     I just got a cool call from a BIG book publisher and they want me to write a book on "CHRISTIAN TEENS"!  (Publishers never call un-established authors!) My idea is to find Teens who are in Love with Jesus who have stories about how they made it through a hard time.  I want "teens" to write one to four page stories of how they turned to GOD when stuff got hard.  This will mean that it will be a book of short stories that will inspire other teens!

     Do you have a heart-warming, insightful, humorous and powerfully moving story you've written or seen? If so, we are currently seeking stories, quotations and other material appropriate for inclusion in several of our forthcoming publication: Stories should be a maximum of 1500 words, typed and double-spaced in a word document.

      You know some found strength from God when their parents broke up or got divorced others leaned on God when they felt stabbed in the back by a friend.  Other issues that would make great chapters or stories are things like:

I am sure you could help me add to this list ... however I would like you to SERIOUSLY consider being one of my authors.  I am looking for about 200 stories from 200 different teens on how GOD & Jesus helped them get through the hard things.  I would like you to write about anything in your life that your think may make a good story.  Know that it doesn't have to be catastrophic it can even be a simple pain that you faced that God helped you face. I will approach thousands of teens around the country, between the age of 13 and 19 (although I will consider 12 and 20+ if their story is really good).  If you don't think you have time to write a story, perhaps you can at least help me find other CHRISTIAN TEENS to be PUBLISHED AUTHORS with me!

What makes a good story? A good story is an inspirational, true story that opens the heart and re-kindles the spirit. It helps readers discover basic principles they can use in their own lives. The BEST stories are personal and often filled with emotion and drama...they are filled with vivid images created using the five senses. They have heart, but also something extra...that element that makes us all feel more hopeful, more connected, more thankful, closer in our relationship with God-and better about life in general. A great story isn't a sermon, an essay or eulogy. It isn't about politics or ultra-controversial issues. But it is a heart-warming, insightful and powerfully-moving work that inspires readers to live life more fully, to love more unconditionally and to trust God more completely.

To contribute a story for our publication is to join a mission to both kids and parents. With God's help, we will literally transform the lives of readers from all over the world.
